East Loan is a road and open space to the south of Falkland. The line of East Loan is continued by the track to Lomondside and Allan Park, and the steps and path leading to the Faulds Road and on up the East Lomond Hill.

Much of the west side is now Back Dykes Terrace and the east side was formerly occupied by the St John's Works.
