East Loan is a road and open space to the south of Falkland, leading towards the the tracks and paths up the East Lomond Hill.

Much of the west sie is now Back Dykes Terrace and the east side was formerly occupied by St John's Works.

The following houses have East Loan addresses:

Additionally, Ashgrove Cottage, next door to Elmlea, has an address in Back Wynd but faces up East Loan.
