The Provosts of Falkland

There were Provosts of the Royal Burgh of Falkland (equivalent to Mayors) from 1852 until the dissolution of the  Town Council in 1975. The first Provost, Francis Deas, was lected on 5 November 1852 ata a meeting of the Council chaired by the Chief Magistrate, George Page.
