Freuchie War Memorial stands in a prominent position towards the western eand of Freuchie village centre, on a small triangular space where Lomond Road meets the High Street and in front of the Lomond Hills Hotel. It commemmorates the residents of Freuchie who were killed or missing in World War I (26 names) and World War II (5 names)[1]
The memorial was unveiled and dedicated on 13 November 13th 1921 and is 23 feet high of grey Creeton granite topped by a celtic cross above a tapering pedestal.[2]
