This article deals with the eastern two-storey extension to Whinstone, previously a separate house. It has its own entrance on South Street West. The upper floor is linked by a staircase to the main part of Whinstone, which is located above Vintage Quine. Not to be confused with Whinstone House, West Port.

  1. HES record for LB31334. The description clearly refers to the eastern extension. The lean-to outbuilding has gone, but the pigeon entries can still be seen in what was its front wall.
  2. List of buildings, 1963.
