Isabella and Susan Henderson (1903).
Alexander Lawson and William Lawson, both 12 years of age, sons of William Lawson, labourer, High Street West, were charged, before Sheriff Armour, at Cupar yesterday with having on May 15th in New Road, Falkland, broken into Kinross Cottage,[sic] occupied by Isabella Henderson and Susan Henderson, factory workers, and stolen one penny of money and two apples; and second on 16th May, at Lathrisk, broken into cottage occupied by Arthur Ross, gardener, and stolen two pounds weight of bread and one pound weight of honey.
- Dundee Evening Telegraph, 22 May 1903, quoted in Playfair and Burgess, page 73. "Kinross Cottage" is clearly a mistake, as confirmed by other newspaper reports.
