Rose Cottage is a house in Balmblae, Falkland, facing the road; Waterside adjoins it at right angles.

Former residents

Mr & Mrs Stewart. He was the Postman and was also a Pipe Major in the Methihill Pipe Band, he taught children to play the pipes in the evening. He also piped in the haggis at the various Burns suppers in the area, and played at the Palace on various occasions. Mrs Stewart cleaned at the Commercial Hotel, scrubbing the front door every day.[2]
