Newton Road continues the line of South Street and starts at a cross-roads with Pleasance. It is part of the B936, and runs eastwards towards Newton of Falkland and Freuchie.
The north side of Newton Road passes Falkland Primary School and a playing field, before being joined by Lomond Crescent. From there on the buildings on the north side are:
- 1 Newton Road (on the corner with Lomond Crescent: formerly Canonbury and later the parish Manse)
- 3 Newton Road (vehicle repair works)
- Falkland Cemetery
- 5 Newton Road (cottage between the older and newer parts of the cemetery).
