Newton of Lathrisk is a small settlement (postcode KY15 7JH) on the B936 between Newton of Falkland and Freuchie, comprising a farm house and a couple of cottages on the main road. it is within the Parish of Falkland, unlike Lathrisk itself, which is in the parish of Kettle.

Mourners at the funeral of Charles Gulland in August 1909 included "Mr Thomas Arnot, Newton of Lathrisk".[1]
