Welcome to the Community portal. This is the place to find out what is happening on the Falkland Historic Buildings Project.
What we've achieved
By December 2021:
- over 400 articles (content pages)
- over 500 images[1]
- all buildings in the Parish of Falkland mentioned in:
- all listed buildings within the Parish of Falkland (except a few in Newton of Falkland and Freuchie)
- Four out of the eight scheduled monuments in the Parish of Falkland
- virtually all buildings within the Conservation area and historic core of the Burgh
- all buildings mentioned in some of our Falkland Society publications, including:
- Playfair and Burgess, Falkland and its people 1901–1913 including Maps A, B, C and D.
Still to be completed
We aim ultimately to include:
