Newton of Lathrisk is a small settlement on the B936 between Newton of Falkland and Freuchie. it is within the Parish of Falkland, unlike Lathrisk itself, which is in the parish of Kettle.

Mourners at the funeral of Charles Gulland in August 1909 included "Mr Thomas Arnot, Newton of Lathrisk".^[1]
